Orenco Originals Goldfinch Thistle Thorburn Bird Counted Cross Stitch Pattern

This is a cross-stitch pattern, not a completed product. It is not a kit, and contains no floss or fabric. This chart was inspired by the illustrations of Archibald Thorburn 1860 –1935, who was born in Hascombe, Surrey England. He was a Scottish naturalist artist and bird illustrator, painting mostly in watercolor. He regularly visited Scotland to sketch animals and birds in the wild. His widely reproduced images of British wildlife with their evocative and dramatic backgrounds, are enjoyed as much today as they were by sportsmen and birdlovers a century ago.

• Charted for 14 count fabric. Finished size is 12 inches (168 stitches) by 14 inches (1964 stitches).
