Powdered artificial diet designed and produced specifically for raising healthy silkworms. Available in a variety of sizes to suit your needs.
Food will arrive as a dry powder. To prepare mix with the required amount of water, cover with a vented lid or piece of cling wrap with a few holes punctured through it and microwave on high for the specified time (see below). After microwaving, be very careful when removing the cover as the mix will be very hot. Allow to stand and cool before offering to the silkworms. Once mixed and cooked the food will last around two months as long as it is kept refrigerated. Dry powder will have a shelf life of about 12 months if kept cool and dry.
Mixing and cooking. 25gm bag add 60ml water cook for around 40 seconds. 50gm bag add 120ml water cook for 60 seconds. 250gm bag add 600ml water cook for 7 minutes.
